Near and far away 

But right here on my screen 

I don’t know what to say 

About these things that I have seen 

 

People trying to find a reason 

While they fight to live in peace 

We all pay the price it seems 

When we look for answers in the streets 

 

I will never understand 

An eye for an eye 

I can’t help but clearly see 

How we’ll all end up blind 

 

I’m watching all in vain 

No truth to be perceived 

How can it make it great again 

When there’s no one to believe 

 

People trying to break free 

But held down by those who lead 

We all pay the price it seems 

When the love of man is overthrown by greed

Before it falls 

We can’t do it if we all try to hide, behind, these walls
